History

I’ve been an at least a partial atheist since I was a child. As much as I enjoyed fiction involving gods or dragons of magic, it seemed far to easy an answer as to how the world, or indeed, the universe, functioned.

Ironically, being a non-believer, I’ve still been accused of holding all sorts of odd beliefs. That I worshiped the devil (impossible), that I hated God (preposterous), or even that myself and those like me are really Muslim (…uh, what?).

Concordantly, I’ve heard similar misrepresentations of the faithful by the faithful of other faiths. I was raised as one of the Christian factions and I’ve read the Bible several times; however it did not help informing me on just what a Southern Baptist or Methodist or Pentecostal actually believed. Obviously, even less information on Buddhists or Sikh or Jainists.

So, I dedicated to ask them which should be far more fun that Wikipedia.
